Organised by National Thoroughbred Week in collaboration with thoroughbred businesses across the Upper Hunter Valley, the Thoroughbred Showcase at White Park celebrates and showcases the region’s renowned thoroughbred racing and breeding industry.
Demonstrations and activities from:
and more!
Operating across Australia and New Zealand, National Thoroughbred Week was established in 2025 by a group of like-minded thoroughbred industry participants, looking to find a way to showcase our horses and our people to the general public, and let them in behind the scenes. NTW was inspired by the UK's National Racehorse Week and NZ's Open Farms.
This event brings together local businesses, industry professionals, and the wider community to highlight the people, expertise, and businesses that make the Upper Hunter Valley a significant hub for Australia’s thoroughbred industry.
The canteen will be operating on the day thanks to Scone Rotary Group, with a sausage sizzle for lunch and other refreshments.
