About Us

Silverdale Farm is a premier thoroughbred breeding operation located in the picturesque Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

Established with a vision to produce elite racehorses and to contribute to the future of Australia’s racing and breeding industry, Silverdale combines world-class facilities, expert horsemanship, and a commitment to excellence in equine care and development.

Set across 260 acres of pristine pasture, the farm offers an ideal environment for breeding, foaling, raising, and preparing thoroughbreds for success before, during and after their time on the track. Our operations encompass the full lifecycle of thoroughbred development — from meticulous broodmare management and safe foaling practices, to tailored yearling preparation programs that focus on physical conditioning, conformation, and handling education.

Silverdale Farm is also a leader in industry education and workforce development through its sister initiative, Silverdale Academy. The Academy delivers hands-on training programs, internships, and industry immersion experiences, equipping the next generation of equine professionals with practical skills and pathways to long-term careers.

With a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail, Silverdale Farm has quickly established itself as a trusted partner within the thoroughbred community. We work closely with breeders, owners, trainers, and industry bodies to raise the standard of care and set new benchmarks for breeding excellence.
