We will be hosting a free BBQ breakfast (while supplies last) @ Scone Race Club for the last hour of Trackwork - from 7.30 - 8.30.
Guests will be able to watch trackwork and see horses and riders go through their preparations, before being escorted to Rob & Annabel Archibald's adjacent stables for a site tour.
What's On in the Hunter Valley during National Thoroughbred Week:
Scone Race Club hosts 17-18 race meetings a year, including the iconic Darley Scone Cup carnival - a two-day meeting on May 15 & 16 that features the only stand-alone metropolitan Saturday race meeting in country NSW.
In addition, we host 8-10 barrier trials a year and every day except Sunday we open for Trackwork for our licensed Scone Race Club trainers.
