What to expect

Pukekohe Park comes alive in November each year for its sell-out TAB Counties Cup Day, featuring the heritage Group 3 TAB Counties Cup along with the Group 2 Dunstan Horsefeeds Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes.

An ideal day out for families, friends or an easy option for corporate hosting, racedays at Pukekohe Park really do offer something for all walks of life. With free general admission on every raceday, we encourage you to join us and check it out for yourself.

  • Registered National Thoroughbred Week guests may do an organised tour (3 groups of 10) to learn more about the inner workings of a race club, the participants and the care we put into our horses.
  • The New Zealand Horse Ambulance Trust will also be in attendance so you can see inside a purpose-built ambulance. Their national fleet is equipped with support and recovery equipment to assist in the provision of critical care to horses injured while competing in equine sports.
