We will be delaying our work morning a bit to make sure you get to see some action. Watch us work the horses around the sand track, have a nosey around the yards, pat some horses, meet our stable dogs and pat the kids pony! This will give you a real behind the scenes look into our operation. Both Niall and Emma will be available for answering any questions you may have.
We will open the doors at 10am - to catch the most action please arrive then.
We are a boutique racing stable that does pre-trainers, race horses and jumpers. Our horses get a huge variety of work over our sand track, farm and the jumps.
A day in the life would be working anywhere up to 20 horses. During different times of the season it varies as to if our jumpers are in or if we are focusing on the flat horses. We also get a large number of pre-trainers from other trainers that want to start them off on the hills of Makohau
We are a working farm, but we have little kids ourselves, so on top of the horses, you will see dogs and pet lambs!
You will be directed to park in a paddock - please park sensibly. We will ensure you don't get stuck!
