Celebrate the best of South Australian racing on Saturday, November 21 with FREE General Admission to Sportsbet Finals Day brings together community, entertainment and plenty of action beyond the track.
Sportsbet Finals Day delivers a showcase of racing talent in the annual Country vs City showdown with both regions competing fiercely for bragging rights on and off the track.
The Sportsbet Speedway takes centre stage as 32 South Australian community groups and charities race for a share of $100,000. Hosted by Tom Rehn and Tim Yeatman, the remote-control car competition brings a whole new kind of racing to Morphettville, with local groups battling it out for their chance to take home a share of the prize pool.
There’ll be plenty happening around Morphettville throughout the afternoon, with Young Franco hitting the stage, DJ Anika Haynes mixing the beats in Club Lago, alongside Adelaide Wine Festival stalls, Sportsbet merchandise and Family Zone will be back, with free pony rides, sandpits, face painting and petting zoo.
Morphettville is the home of South Australia’s largest and premier racing club, the South Australian Jockey Club, hosting more than 46 days of racing action.
As South Australia’s premier racing venue, Morphettville Racecourse has a proud history dating back to its first race meeting in 1875. The venue features two tracks — Course Proper (Main Track) and Morphettville Parks — and hosts many Group and Listed races annually, including the Group 1 Sportsbet Australasian Oaks, Sportsbet Robert Sangster Stakes, Thomas Farms South Australian Derby, the Sportsbet Goodwood and the iconic Group 2 Sportsbet Adelaide Cup on the March public holiday Monday.

Located just 15 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and the Adelaide Airport, and only five minutes from Glenelg, Morphettville combines accessibility with flexibility. Patrons can enjoy complimentary onsite parking, along with tram access directly to the venue.
