Little Avondale(LA) proudly, a third-generation family business steeped in history is proud to share their passion and pride for the NZ thoroughbred and all that it entails.
LA is a thoroughbred breeding farm, standing two stallions, the 2025 Centaine Award winner for most progeny earnings worldwide, Per Incanto and NEW this year, Group 1 Blue Diamond winner, Little Brose.
Annually foaling down approximately 120 mares a year between August and December with concentrated breeding work with vets and services with our two stallions from September to mid-December.
Yearling Sales Preparation begins in October and runs through to April in order to prepare yearlings for all the major Australasian sales.
We look forward to sharing our home, our horses and our dedicated team with you.
