Equorum Horse Refuge is a large Horse Charity whose principal purpose is to help OTT horses find a new life after racing. We are located in the picturesque Gooram Valley near Euroa on 500 acres and the farm has around 160 thoroughbreds on site from newborn foals through to retired veterans.
We offer owners a full time sponsored retirement facility and our Charity accepts and re-trains OTT horses for new careers after racing from Australian and Hong Kong based owners as well as thoroughbreds needing emergency assistance.
We also offer a pre-training and training service teaching thoroughbreds dressage and associated riding activities for horses still in race training and also those just exiting racing and in need of an education to become an equestrian horse.
The farm operates as a small thoroughbred boutique breeding farm with the view to ethical breeding, training and racing processes to see our horses reach their best in racing as well as setting them up for life after racing in the process.
